I’m a Lead Product Designer based in the Washington DC metro area.
I had an early start in Engineering, which gave me a foundational understanding of identifying problems and solving them.
And I believe my technical background & love for design have shaped my balanced mindset. I am passionate about helping people get their jobs done by designing functional and useful products.
I have a deep appreciation for functionality and details that allow me to build intuitive products.
I’ve done so initially as a consulting designer and then as an in-house designer. As a consultant designer, I’ve designed products across various industries like Health Care, Real Estate, Education, and postal services. More recently, as an in-house designer, I’ve been focusing on complex search and filtering problems to help users find the correct policy data. In addition, I’ve led the design and user experience efforts on several projects, conducting user research sessions to identify customer needs and building prototypes, wireframes, diagrams, and other design artifacts to ease communication with stakeholders. I’ve also mentored interns and junior designers on the team to share my expertise and assist whenever possible.
I approach design collaboratively to drive alignment between product management, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure our customers' and business needs are met.
